Amy, seen here with her husband, is the founder of  A FINE TUTOR, LLC. She is a graduate of the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill --School of Education. She has taught both Math and Science in Baltimore and Howard Counties. However, Amy found her calling working one on one with students. She has been tutoring since 1998 and full time since 2004. She truly enjoys seeing her pupils grow in confidence as students and as individuals.

Penny is a reading specialist who is
great with developiong a plan that will
help your child become a stronger reader.
She is currently on maternity leave from the
Howard County Public School System.

Rae is a math tutor with experience teaching 
at the college level. Is great at breaking down
the steps so students can see the path to success.

Alicia is a verbal SAT prep tutor who helps with 
strategies in the writing and grammar sections to 
make the process straight forward and stress free.

Maureen is an elementary school teacher with many talents
working with students in the Language arts, reading comprehension, math, as well as organization and other homework needs.

Jennifer is a spanish teacher on leave from Howard County public schools. She makes a foreign language not so scary as she build vocabulary as well as listening and speaking skills.

Rick is a history teacher in the Howard County Public School System and allows students to see the big story instead of individual events.
